Fuel Interactive PPC Specialists Selected as Google Engage All-Stars

Fuel Travel Marketing has been selected as a winner in the Google Engage All-Stars program, a competition between online marketers across the country.

Two members of the Hotel Marketing Department have won an all-expense paid trip to Google’s headquarters in California to participate in a summit where they will get advanced training, one-on-one consultations with Google employees and more.

Fuel Travel won this opportunity primarily for its work on behalf of Myrtle Beach resort and hotel clients. Fuel currently runs Pay Per Click campaigns for around 30 local resorts.

This second annual Google Engage All-Stars program started April 4, 2013 and went until June 30, 2013. Agencies competed to show the most growth for their clients in Google’s Pay Per Click AdWords program and had to hit certain benchmarks within that period in order to be considered. Google then selected the top agencies to attend the summit to be held August 12-14, 2013 at their Mountain View headquarters.

“We are proud of our PPC team for being named Google Engage All-Stars,” said Stuart Butler, Fuel Interactive’s chief operating officer. “We believe in being a customer-focused agency driven by results, and this award exemplifies our commitment to that mission.”

Internet Marketing Specialists Meisha Bochicchio and Eric Heiken will be representing Fuel Travel at the summit.

“When you put your clients first, great things always happen. To us, this Google Engage competition sat in the background while we worked only to benefit our clients – if we win, great; if not, oh well. What is awesome is seeing that Google’s strategy aligns with ours,” Heiken said.

The knowledge Heiken and Bochicchio bring back will only provide an additional benefit to Fuel Interactive’s clients and help promote the Myrtle Beach area as a whole.

“I feel so incredibly lucky to be given this opportunity. I am really looking forward to collaborating with Eric on this trip and seeing what we can take back and apply to help our department better serve our clients,” Bochicchio said.
