Traffic Manager & Customer Support

Job description

Fuel is seeking a fun and energetic person to join our team of “Fueligans”. This fast-paced role is perfect for an individual who is extremely organized and who pays attention to the small details.

No specific experience is required; however, the successful candidate must be extremely comfortable with internet technology, must get along well with people but also be capable of being firm when necessary, must be capable of managing and juggling multiple moving priorities and must have strong problem solving skills.

Experience in project/traffic management is a major plus.

Position Summary: The Traffic Manager is responsible for establishing requirements from account services and clients and assigning and scheduling the responsibilities in order that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner. The Traffic Manager must be skilled in problem solving and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

The Traffic Manager works with all team members to assist with client needs.

Position Supervisor: COO – Development & Support

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Assists clients and team members with their support and project management needs.
  • Responds to clients and team members in a timely manner.
  • Accurately identifies and documents bugs/fixes where appropriate.
  • Assigns tasks to appropriate personnel.
  • Manages the work schedule for the developers.
  • Sets accurate timelines for all projects and communicates deadlines to account services personnel and clients.
  • Assists with quotes and billing where necessary.
  • Facilitates the communication between account services and developers.
  • Monitors all communication channels, including phone, fax, email and instant messenger.
  • Provides data to stakeholders to help support their job function.
  • Identifies performance problems and offers potential solutions.
  • Looks for opportunities to improve efficiency within the company.
  • Confirms all deadlines with supervisor, account service personnel and/or client.
  • Reviews all work for errors/omissions prior to turning in work for account executive/client approval.
  • Makes all requested changes/corrections promptly and correctly.

  • Meets assigned deadlines and alerts account services personnel and/or client if deadlines cannot be met for any reason or if an extension is required.
  • Strives to complete every assignment to its fullest potential.
  • Represents the agency at industry and community functions—promotes the agency at every opportunity. Is fully familiar with agency credentials and specialties.
  • Continuously works to upgrade knowledge and skills through available reading, courses and seminars.
  • Prepares special projects and reports as directed by Position Supervisor.
  • Will be trained to assist with other departmental and agency functions on an as needed basis.
  • Conveys a professional, positive and courteous attitude at all times toward clients, co-workers, vendors and guests.
  • Maintains a healthy attitude toward your job, make suggestions to improve the agency’s overall performance and attend scheduled agency and departmental meetings.
  • Upholds agency reputation and brand standards.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures as stated in the Policy Manual.
  • Contributes to company blog

Fuel is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic entry-level web developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing websites and web-based software. Knowledge of good programming practices, ability to work efficiently in a team, good communication skills and a passion for the web are key.
